John has been the CEO since the company's inception in late 2001. Prior to V1 Datacom, he was a General Manager for Frontier Communications, Director of Agent Marketing for GST Telecom, Customer Service Manager for NW Telco, and Sales Director for New Edge Networks.
John began his career in customer service and the foundation of that experience has shaped the way he approaches all other disciplines in the organization. When his mind isn't in a data cloud, John likes to be in real clouds. A retired flight instructor and cargo pilot, he holds both single and multi-engine commercial pilot certificates.

With more than 25 years of accounting experience, Barbara is a co-founder of V1 Datacom. Her past experience includes tenure as a Senior Accountant for the public accounting firm, Moss Adams (Spokane, WA), where she managed audits for a number of industries including telecommunications.
After public accounting, she became the Assistant Controller for Impact Telecommunications, a regional inter-exchange provider in the Northwest. Her experience as a Division Controller for Drypers Corporation provided her with experience in manufacturing. Most recently, Barbara was the Internal Audit Manager for The Schnitzer Group and managed all audit functions for public (Nasdaq: SCHN) and private portions of the company. She is a past Board member for Portland Chapter of Institute of Internal Auditors and a co-manager in the operation of her family's cattle ranch.

He is also a graduate of University of Oregon's MBA program. Mark's business experience and academic training provide a baseline for creating the tools and foundation of services which address the needs of our clients. When he's not building infrastructure, Mark enjoys biking, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.

Kim has been with V1 Datacom since 2007. During his 30 year career with Pacific Northwest Bell, US West, and Qwest, Kim was a manager in the Business Marketing department. He served large business and Global accounts, and provided sales support to Qwest Business Partners as well.
He also held positions in Project Management and Inside Sales, providing him with a thorough background in total account consulting, including designing solutions, pricing, provisioning, and billing. His experience, extensive product knowledge, and responsiveness combine to provide customers with premier service. His diverse experience gives his customers an insight to make more efficient and effective decisions for their network requirements. He is also an encyclopedia of local telecom history and a collector of antique telecom equipment. Jerry has been a member of the Board of Directors of the UCP Association for Oregon and SW Washington in various capacities since 1985.
